Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the foundation stone laying ceremony for three new buildings at Delhi University.

According to the latest forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Gujarat region can expect extremely heavy rainfall today. Additionally, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over East Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka, and Kerala.

The IMD also reported that the Southwest Monsoon has made further progress into most parts of the north Arabian Sea, remaining parts of Gujarat, and some more areas of Rajasthan today. It has been predicted that the conditions are favorable for the monsoon to advance into more parts of Rajasthan and the remaining regions of Haryana and Punjab over the next two days. The IMD stated that active monsoon conditions are expected to persist over Northwest, Central, and West India for the next five days.
